Product Overview
The Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Kit is a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) kit consists of a SFP Transceiver, an ESD disposable wrist strap and return Instructions for SFP. The SFP transceiver is a pluggable transceiver module which has high performance integrated duplex data link for bi-directional communication over multimode optical fiber. It is compliant with the Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) transceiver specification. It is specifically designed for high speed data links up to 4.25GBaud. The SFP transceiver is hot pluggable which allows a suitably designed enclosure to be changed from one type of external interface to another simply by plugging in a SFP having the alternative external interface. This optoelectronic transceiver module is a Class 1 Laser product compliant with FDA Radiation Performance Standards, 21 CFR Subchapter J. This component is also Class 1 Laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-825-1/EN60825. This FRU kit is securely packaged inside a high quality packaging and are supported by bubble wrap and antistatic bag to avoid physical damage during transit.
